We're starting August with a very sweet and refreshing post where we are delighted to share our choice of the best ice-cream parlours in Ibiza and Formentera (as you will probably want to hop over to the neighbouring island for the day). Our top choice of the best ice-cream parlours in Ibiza

Punto G

We start our ice-cream tour in Ibiza on number 9 in Calle Ruda, less than a minute’s walk from Ibiza Sun Apartments (yes, temptation is that near). Their homemade ice-creams change every day, so if you can't make up your mind, ask their staff to guide you. And if once is not enough, they’ve opened another parlour in Plaza de Vila in Dalt Vila this summer.

Los Valencianos

This ice-cream parlour has become part of the island’s history as it opened in 1933 and was the first ice-cream shop in Ibiza. You can choose from 25 ice-cream flavours, from the classic turron to other fun flavours like Oreo, marshmallows and spicy chocolate. And don’t forget their horchata to quench your thirst! Los Valencianos is in Plaza Antoni Riquer, in La Marina district, buzzing with the old harbour life, and opposite the pier where boats leave for Formentera (Avda. Santa Eulalia, 5).

Viccio

This ice-cream parlour in Ibiza is in the charming village of Sant Carles de Peralta and has quickly become one of the most popular on the island. It’s on one of the pedestrian streets in the village, only a few metres away from the church and it’s a good spot to get away from the bustle on the beaches. If you’re thirsty and you like acid flavours, try their homemade lemonade!

When you go to San Antonio, you’re bound to pass by this excellent ice-cream shop opposite the village temple, one of the most beautiful fortified churches in Ibiza. You’ll find a small assortment of homemade ice-creams that changes every day. Ask for the flaó ice-cream (based on Ibiza’s traditional dessert) and the dark chocolate ice-cream. You will love them! You can eat them while you take a stroll around the village or sitting on their pleasant terrace in the square.

Vivi’s Creamery

This ice-cream shop in La Marina quarter next to the Plaza de la Constitución has a broad range of ice-creams with exciting flavours, like peanut or cheesecake. And if you’re a fan of Formula 1, you’ll want to know that you might easily run into Nico Rosberg there.

Antarctica Ibiza

When you visit Santa Eulària des Riu, make sure you visit another one of the best ice-cream parlours in Ibiza: Antarctica. Located on the promenade, we especially recommend the Ibiza fig, hazelnut, lemon or watermelon flavours from its range of homemade ice-creams. They also have vegan ice-creams.

The best ice-cream parlours in Formentera

In Formentera, you have two excellent excuses to succumb to the cone temptation: Geckolateria and La Mukkeria. The first is in La Savina, next to the harbour, and has a completely addictive dark chocolate ice-cream. The second must-go-to parlour in Formentera, La Mukkeria, is in Sant Francesc Xavier and its pistachio ice-cream is especially popular.
